Catherine Smith | Certified Residential Appraiser, NHCR-159
Owner of Property Appraisals, Catherine opened her appraisal practice in June,
1982 after completing two years of work as an apprentice appraiser in a North
Conway Appraisal office. Catherine has been actively completing appraisal assignments
in Carroll, Belknap and Strafford County for over 20 years. During her two
decades of work she has completed assignments with a wide range of purpose
including eminent domain, a court order partitioning, valuations for boundary
lot line adjustments and lot releases. She has completed many assignments for
litigation and has been qualified as anexpert witness in New Hampshire, Massachusetts
and Vermont Courts. Recently she has become active in the education process
for appraisers and is in the process of writing a seminar for review appraisal.
Richard Jason Smith | Licenced Residential Appraiser, NHLR-488
Richard migrated to Wolfeboro with his parents, Cathy & Rick, in 1976 and
has called Wolfeboro home since. He graduated from Kingswood Regional High School
in 1993. He has his Criminal Justice degree from New Hampshire Technical Institute
and worked in law enforcement for 5 years. More recently, Richard joined the
family business, Property Appraisals. He currently has his Residential Appraiser
license, and is working to become a Certified Appraiser.
Christine Smith | Appraiser Trainee & Realtor®
Christine is a native of Wolfeboro and graduate of KRHS. She attended Plymouth State College where she graduated in 2000 with a BS in Childhood Studies. Christine is currently employed with Governor Wentworth Regional School District (GWRSD) as an elementary school teacher. Christine has a second career in real estate sales and is pursuing her Real Estate Appraiser license.
Shannon LaMonica | Apprentice Appraiser & Office Manager
Shannon grew up in the New Hampshire lakes region, but has also spent time living in Arizona , New Jersey , Mexico , and Italy. In 1999 Shannon graduated magna cum laude from The University of Arizona with her BA in Spanish and Italian. After an early career in sales, Shannon found an interest in the real estate industry and is currently pursuing her Appraiser License. During her Appraising Apprenticeship she is also employed as the Office Manager here at Property Appraisals. Shannon enjoys volunteering and is an active member of both Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Seacoast and the New Hampshire SPCA.
